Why we are unique
The Hawthorne Education Center was named one of seven finalists in Harvard University's Innovations in American Government Awards because of its "novel approach to tapping into an existing unemployed local market." Harvard's Ash Center praised Hawthorne's "Pathways to College and Careers" and "Bridges to Healthcare" programs, as a partnership between public and nonprofit institutions that hopes to fill a need in health care.
